Black Watch Friends:

Regret to report the passing of Doug Mill last Sunday in Puslinch, Ontario.

Doug served with 1RHC and in his later years was a bar steward in the St. Andrew’s Barracks Officers’ Mess. A long-time resident of Oromocto, he moved to Ontario a few years ago when his wife, Stephanie, passed away.

Understand that a memorial service is planned for next Monday (20 March) in St. Mary’s Chapel, CFB Gagetown at 14:00.

MILL, Douglas F.
Peacefully with his loving family by his side at Morriston Park Nursing Home, Puslinch, ON, on Sunday, March 12, 2017, in his 90th year. Predeceased by his loving wife Stefanie of 48 years (2011). Loving dad to Caroline Mill-Mercer (Ron). He will be sadly missed by his family and many friends.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel. Visitation and funeral service will be conducted in Oromocto, N.B. at a later time. As expressions of sympathy, donations to War Amps of Canada or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family. Cards are available at the funeral home at (519)821-5077.
