Regret to report that Gerry Marsh died early on New Year’s Day 2014 passed away at his son’s residence in Sherwood Park near Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. He had been fighting cancer recently.

Gerry served with 1st Battalion RHC in Aldershot, Germany, Gagetown and Cyprus. He became a member of 2RCR in 1970.

It is believed that a memorial service will be held in New Brunswick however details are unknown at this time.

The death of Gerald Joseph Marsh of Lincoln, NB, occurred in Sherwood Park Alberta. He was the husband of Cynthia (Margeson) Marsh.
Survived by his wife Cynthia; one son, Stephen Marsh (Kelly McKinnon) of Alberta; one daughter, Crystal Foley (Raymond) of Fort Saskatchewan, AB as well as several grandchildren.
Predeceased by his parents; one son, Daniel Marsh.
Visitation will be held at Oromocto Funeral Home on Friday, January 10th, 2014 from 1-3 and 6-8 pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church on Saturday January 11, 2014 at 11:00 am. Rev. Mark Trzop as Celebrant. For those who wish, memorial tributes may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of the donor’s choice.
