Butch graduated from Depot with 106 Squad and was posted to 2nd Battalion. He served with 2nd Battalion in Gagetown, Germany and Cyprus.

1942-2015
The death occurred at Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Thursday, October 1, 2015 of William "Butch"Alexander Musgrave, of Cascumpec, formerly of North Sydney, N.S aged 72 years, beloved husband of Carol (Timbury). Born in North Sydney, N.S on November 29, 1942, son of the late Russell "Wheeler" and Carrie (Martin) Musgrave.
Loving father to Connie (Chris) Sapier, Ellerslie and Kimberly Jesty ( Ramiz Aghdasy).
Dear grandfather to Dawn Marie Campbell-Sapier, MacKenzie Sapier, Jacob MacDonald, Kelsey MacDonald, Lauren Sapier, Dylan Sapier, Summer Sapier, Kenneth Jesty, Michael Jesty and two great grandchildren Xena MacDonald and Colin Bernard.
Butch is survived by his sister Linda (Brian) Haigdon and brother Keith (Anne) Musgrave and by brothers and sister in law Billy (Liz) Timbury, Jackie Hatch and Edward (Kay) Skinner .
Predeceased by his parents and sister Judy Ross.
Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary with private family arrangements. Completion of arrangements in North Sydney, N.S.,where family and friends are invited to the Armstrong Royal Canadian Legion Branch #19, North Sydney on Wednesday, October 7, 2015, from 1:00pm until 3:00pm for a time of sharing memories.
