SCOTT, A.J. Philip (Phil)

At Ste-Anne's Veterans' Hospital, on April 13, 2016 at the age of ninety-four. Husband of the late Olive Bell. Survived by his daughter Carol, (late Peter Bellware) and son Phil Jr. (Claire Delaney) and Marilyn Campbell. He will be greatly missed by grandchildren Kelly and Scott Bellware and Stacey Scott, great- grandchildren Jordan and Miguel. Dear brother of Dorothy (Ken Cave) and Ron. Phil was a WWII Veteran who served with the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps and had a lifetime career with the Canadian Provost Corps. He was a member of Roundel Masonic Lodge, Karnak Shriners Arab Patrol, The Royal Order of Jesters-(Montreal Court 63), SD&G Highlanders and South Glengarry Pipe Bands. He was a Founding and Life Member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 127 (Point St. Charles) and Member of Branch 4 (Verdun). In recent years Phil volunteered with The Black Watch Association, serving Veterans at the hospital that became his final home. Visitation on Saturday, April 23, 2016 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., followed by a celebration of Phil's life at Feron Funeral Homes 1010 Shevchenko, Lasalle, Quebec. A Legion Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Phil's family offers sincere gratitude to the compassionate team at Ste. Anne's Veterans' Hospital for their excellent care and support. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Black Watch of Canada Foundation (Montreal Branch Association) P.O. Box 92, Place D Àrmes, Montreal, Quebec H2Y 3E9 or the Ste. Anne's Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
