Regret to report the passing of Don Rouse earlier this week in St. Stephen, NB.
Don served with 1st Bn RHC (A Coy 1967 Cyprus) and later with 2nd Bn RCR.
April 13, 1941 - September 11, 2017
At the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen, NB., Monday, September 11, 2017, Sgt (Ret.) Donald Laurie Rouse of Brockway, NB. passed away. He was the husband of Mavis A. (Madore) Rouse and son of the late Laurie Glen and Muriel Mildred (Gual) Rouse.
Don enlisted in the Canadian Armed Forces Infantry and served 35 years with the Black Watch and 2 RCR until his retirement.
Survived by his wife, one son, Thomas Rouse (Samantha Byres) of Halifax, NS., grandchildren, Kayla Byres (Mark) of saint John, NB. and Codie Rouse of Halifax, NS., one great- grandson, Jordon Byres, four sisters, Muriel Arsenault of Yarmouth, NS., Beverly Anne Salsman of White Rock, NS., Sandra Hudgins of Kentville, NS., Judi MacPhee (Harold) of New Minas, NS., several nieces and nephews.
By request, no funeral service or visitation will be held.
