Black Watch & RCR Friends:
Regret to report the passing on Leroy Fife on Saturday in Truro, NS.
Leroy served with 2nd Battalion The Black Watch RHC throughout the 1960s in Gagetown, Germany and Cyprus (1966 and 1970). He re-badged 2RCR in 1970 and subsequently became RSM of 3RCR in the early 1980s. He later was commissioned and, on leaving the Regular Force, became a company commander with the Nova Scotia Highlanders.
Leroy was highly regarded in the RHC and RCR. His son commanded 2RCR in CFB Gagetown.
