Regret to report the passing of Brian Brydges last week in Sussex, NB.
Brian was a long time member of our 2nd Battalion having served almost entirely with ‘A’ Company from about 1959 in Gagetown, Germany and Cyprus (both 1966 and 1969/70 tours).
After 1970 he continued to serve with 2RCR.

1942 - 2018
Brian Boyd Brydges, 76, of Penobsquis, NB passed away Monday, July 23, 2018 at the Sussex Health Centre. Born in Amherst, NS he was the son of the late Arnold and Mary (Brun) Brydges.
Brian served in the Canadian Forces for 21 years, and was a member of the Black Watch. He always loved the great–outdoors, and enjoyed time on his four–wheeler.
Survived and sadly missed by his beloved wife, Nancy Brydges; children, Susan (Bruce) Strang of Hillsborough, Mark Brydges of Moncton, Jean Marie and Ian Brydges both of Calgary; brothers, Wayne (Noela) Brydges of Ontario and Keith Brydges of Vancouver; four grandchildren; two great–grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews
