— 81, Burnside, Upper Stewiacke passed away Thursday, August 27, 2009, in Camp Hill Veterans Memorial Building, QEII, Halifax. Born in Westville, Pictou Co. on August 2, 1928, he was a son of the late Fred and Annie (Power-Coughlin) Webb. He was a veteran of the Korean War and a proud member of the Black Watch, 2RHC. Judd drove transport trucks in Ontario for many years before moving back to his home province of Nova Scotia and worked for the Department of Transportation until his retirement. He loved fishing, hunting, the great outdoors and his dog "Buddy" and cat, "Suzie". He is survived by his companion, Edna Zinck; sons, Donald, Ontario; David, Alberta; Roy, British Columbia, and their spouses; daughters, Debra and Darlene, both of Truro; Brenda and Glenna, both of Ontario, and their spouses; the mother of his children, Lorraine (Henry) Webb, Truro; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; stepchildren, Elaine, Bible Hill, Tracey and Roy, Ontario and their spouses; nine stepgrandchildren and one stepgreat-grandchild; brother, Donald Davis (Joan), Ottawa, Ont.; half-sister, Rita Cameron, New Glasgow; many nieces and nephews in Canada and the United States. He was predeceased by daughter, Patricia (twin of Donald); son-in-law, Larry Murray; half-brothers, John Henry and Fred Webb, Peter and Stephen Coughlin; half-sisters, Ellen Hickey, Annie Margaret MacIntosh, Alice and Donelda MacIntyre, Frances and Mary Coughlin, Lena Davis, Agatha Dion, Lillian Cooley and Margaret Campbell. Cremation has taken place. No visitation or flowers by request. A graveside committal service will be held on Monday, August 31 at 2 p.m. in Burnt Hill Cemetery, Burnside, Upper Stewiacke, Rev. Marilyn MacDonald officiating. Donations in his memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or the Camp Hill Veterans Memorial Building Fund. Arrangements entrusted to Colchester Community Funeral Home, Truro. On line condolences may be sent to:
