Hi all,
Gordie's son, Mike here.
On the old website we had a bit of a discussion going regarding who was there. One of the pers mentioned that he had a copy of the nominal roll and I would like to secure a copy of it, if possible

We would very like a copy as well, it's needed for Rick. Does that include the names of a few of the Cadets that also went along (Rick was one of them)? Thank You! All the best to everyone!

The pipe band that was at Gagetown in '67 was made up of mostly cadets. The band photo is around the pipe band room somewhere.

Hi Grinny,

Well, I'm still with the City of Vancouver in Non-Market Housing. If your ever in Gastown, look for a place called the Dugout on Powel and ask for me, I work in the housing above it.

Also, the Church I go to in the West End holds a Rememberence Service on the Sunday before Nov 11th and would be a nice fit to the Service if I could get a Piper to come out, hint. Was able to get two Cadets from the Seaforth one year.

Hi Rick and Sherri,
I haven't had any bites on the nominal roll thing yet and I was wondering if you had any better luck. I was talking with a guy from National Archives and he said that he wasn't having any luck and he feels that stuff like that will still be at DND Archives. He also said that my records only went back to Sep 67 when I went up to the 3rd and anything dealing with cadets, is not kept. He said the best alternative might be an attestation to the fact from at least two reputable persons, saying that a person was there.

Still no more news from anyone regards the nominal roll. When the few Cadets went with the Watch in 67 it was to fill the ranks with Cadets that were tall and looked old enough. Somewhere out there must be something - Rick says that they all got rations too so maybe names would be on that. If someone - anyone knows where that could be, pls let us know. i wonder if the BW Museum doesn't have some of these records. Are there two people out there who remember Rick being there with the Watch who would be willing to "attest" to it? Please let us know soonest. Thanks a lot!
