(December 25, 1942 - December 8, 2010)
Robert R. Orr of Woodstock, NB passed away on Wednesday Dec 8th, 2010 at the age of 67.
Robert is survived by one son, Anthony (Cheryl) Orr, CFB Shilo; one daughter, Kelly Orr, CFB Greenwood; six sisters, Margaret Denning (John) of Fredericton, NB, Sheila Staples of Woodstock, NB, Barbara Noftell (Donnie) of St. Stephen, NB, Grace Veysey (Larry) of Woodstock, NB, Dorothy Lewis (Mike) of Woodstock, NB, Wendy Orr (Jay) of Edmonton, AB; four brothers Clifford (Susan) Orr of Nackawic, NB, David Orr Kingston of Ont, Richard Orr of Kingston Ont, Ashley Orr ( Jocelyn) of Elmwood, NB; two grandchildren Tamara Orr & Brendon Orr of Shilo, Manitoba. Robert was predeceased by his parents Robert and Faye (Carr) Orr, and his wife Marlene Hamilton, one brother James Orr.
Robert was a former member of the Canadian Forces and Deputy Fire Marshall with the Nova Scotia Fire Marshall’s Office.
With respect to Roberts’s wishes, there will not be any formal visitation.
Funeral Service will be held on Monday Dec 13, 2010 at 2 pm from the Scott Funeral Home Chapel, Woodstock, NB. Rev. Greg Williams will be officiating.
Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday December 14th, 2010 at 2 pm at the Prince Street United Church Truro, Nova Scotia.
A reception will be held at the funeral home following the funeral service.
Interment will be held in the Woodstock Rural Cemetery.
If desired donations can be made t the Living Memorial c/o Scott Funeral Home or to the NB Heart Foundation.
