Atlantic Branch Executive has been notified by staff at Camp Aldershot that the Aldershot campground will NOT be available for the reunion this year.

I have been requested by Atlantic Branch Executive to distribute the foregoing to my e-mail list, and to request that you pass the information to anyone you know who may be planning to attend the reunion this year.

Regrettably, I have no further information at this time.

This is just bloody awful. I'm coming all the way from Alberta. I have rented a motorhome in Halifax and do not have a car so if I camp in some location near Kentville how the h--- am I suppose to get to and from events. If the camp had of told us right after the reunion of 2007 then we could have made alternate plans. This just sucks and is cruel beyond cruel. What was their excuse??

Does this mean there is no camping available at all.This must have been a recent decision as it was not all that long a go i sent in my fee for camping and there was no indication of a problem at that time.If this keeps up it appears our get togethers will be a thing of the past

Have to agree with Jim. That was the first thought that came to me, was another way to phase us out. Not much of the ol "esprit de corps" from Joe new guy.

We were staying at a camp ground anyway for the month of Aug.so we just extended it a couple more weeks. Rick & Donna Smith and Yvonne (Bonnie) & I are at the Highbury camp grounds just outside of Kentville. It certainly will not be the same as all the other years cause the camp grounds is were it happened.AH.THE MEMORIES.

Ted, try camp grounds association NovaScotia. There are a few camp grounds just outside of Kentville. Quite possible you will find someone that you can get a ride with some one going to the camp. If you get into our camp you can always hitch one with us, especially Sat. for the meeting.

Thanks for the offer Bob but I understand the Assoc. is still trying to work on the problem and I remain hopeful, even if it's not the Pines. I shall keep your offer in mind though.
