Johnny Wilkinson member of the Black Watch??? Worl 10 Years ago
I am from Belgium, some Canadian soldiers stayed with my family when Ghent was liberated by Canadian and Polish soldiers.
Johnny Wilkenson was one of these men.
I have a picture of him.

By looking at his photo, I believe he served in a Higland Regiment, probably The Black Watch. he seems to be wearing the Regiment’s red feather on his beret.
He also wrote some letters:

He is not killed in the Second World War.
His adress : Rosemount – Montreal. (till 1948 after that no information)
He also got 5 medals....(written in one of his letters) why did Johnny got these?
Perhaps somebody can tell me more abut him. (Is he still alive.....)
