Mr. Benjamin Theodore Townsend also known as captain morgan,husband of Emma (doucette) Townsend of King George Hwy, Miramichi passed away Tuesday evening, January 17 2012 at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 67.Born in North Sydney,NS, he was the son of the late Douglas and Bernice(weatherby) Townsend.He was retired from the Canadian army ( The Black Watch). He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #10,and also a member of the Anglican Church.Besides his wife Emma he is survived by three Daughters, Tabitha Dewolfe (bernie) of Miramichi,Helen MacDonald(todd) of Black River and Crystal Townsend(cris west) of Chipan,one son Benjamin Jr.(cathi) of Ottawa,one sister Ruth,two Brothers,Rick,William,7 grandchildren and one great grandchild.Besides his parents he was predeceased by one grandson Gabriel and one sister Rose hollingsworth.At the request of the family there will be no vistation at the funeral home.A memorial service will be held saturday Jan 21,2012 at 10 am at Davidson's Funeral Home Chapel
