Regret to announce the passing of Arlie Bigger earlier this week.
Arlie served with 1st Battalion in Germany and Gagetown.

BIGGER - It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dear father, Keith Arlington Bigger, February 15th, 2012 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers hospital.
Keith was born in McAdam Aug 30th 1939. Son of the late Robert and Jean (Sharpe) Bigger. He joined the armed forces at age 17 and served in the Black Watch. Keith married his beloved Freida (Mowatt) in 1960 and they shared 50 years before losing her in November 2010. Keith had a great sense of humour and such a caring nature. He had a loving, kind spirit and cared so deeply for those he loved.
Survived by sons, Gerald (Tanya) Bigger of Grand Bay, N.B., Arlie (Karla) Bigger of Solon, Maine, Chris (Nicky) Bigger of Red Deer, Alberta; daughter, Shelley Robertson of Fredericton, N.B.; stepson, Ronald Richard of McAdam, N.B.; brothers, Gary (Viola) Bigger of McAdam, N.B., Vaughn (Roma) Bigger of Lambert, Maine, Merle (Avis) Bigger of McAdam, N.B.; sister, Shirley Stafford of St. Stephen, N.B.; thirteen grandchildren, Derek, Matthew, Jason, Dawn, Samantha, Keith, Tiffany, Jessica, Brittany, Brandon, Jasmine, Adeya, Selena; nine great-grandchildren, Ava, Kaleb, Destiny, Paige, Nevaeh, Tamika, Dawson, Jeremiah, Kennedi; nieces and nephews .
Predeceased by his parents and loving wife; brothers, James, Ersyl, Elwyn and Gerald; sister, Kathleen; grandson, Christopher; son-in-law, Paul Robertson.
He will be greatly missed by all including his loving dogs, Bear and Sasha.
Visiting hours will be held at the church on Saturday, February 18 from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m.
Resting at the Voice of Pentecost Church, Harvey Road, McAdam, N.B. from where the funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 19, 2012 at 2:00 p.m.
Interment at Harvey Community Cemetery, Harvey, N.B. at a later date.
In memory of Keith, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
