Born in Maccan, David was a son of the late Harvey and Elizabeth (MacAloney) St. Peter. In his younger years, Buddy served with the Canadian Armed Forces, Black Watch Regiment, having served a tour of duty in Germany. Following his service in the military, he moved to Toronto and Ottawa where he worked as a Commissionaire for several government agencies. On his return home, Buddy was employed with Fraser’s Dry Cleaners. Most recently he was a Commissionaire in the Moncton area until his passing. Buddy was heavily involved with the Army Cadets for many years, in River Hebert and Moncton. He spent many summers at Camp Argonaut in Gagetown, NB. Buddy will be lovingly remembered by his companion, Agnes Chapman, Riverview, NB; sisters, Lillian (Joe) Bray, Maccan and Bernadette (Eric) MacDonald, Nappan; brothers, Archie (Valerie), Springhill, Billy, Maccan; brother in law, Jim Dwyer, Maccan; as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.
