Regret to inform you of the recent passing of Sandy Sanford in New Brunswick.
Sandy graduated from RHC Depot in 1958 and went to Germany with 1RHC in 1959. He remained with 1RHC until he rebadged 2RCR in 1970, and he accompanied 2RCR to Cyprus in 1973/74.

Freeman "Sandy" Oscar Sanford
1935-2013
The Lord has called home his son, Freeman (Sandy) Oscar Sanford of Wassis, NB on June 1st, 2013 at the Saint John Regional Hospital.
Sandy will be forever loved and cherished by his wife, Geraldine Marie Sanford; his children, Ralph, Sandra, Bruce, Brian, James, Francis, and the late Deborah Sanford. Sandy’s flame will burn eternally in the hearts and souls of his Grand Children, Great Grand Children, siblings, nieces, nephews, and close friends.
May peace and love surround his family as they mourn his loss and rejoice in his life, and may his Country also stand proud of the 33 years of Military service he has invested.
Friends and Family are welcome to attend a visitation on Tuesday, June 4th from 7:00 - 9:00 pm at St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church. A funeral service will be held at the Church on Wednesday, June 5th at 12:00 pm with Rev. Monte Peters as celebrant.
