Joe served with 2nd RHC in Gagetown, Germany and Cyprus, with 2nd RCR in Gagetown, 3rd RCR in Germany, and with the Infantry School in Gagetown.

Wilford Joseph "Joe" Frost
1939-2013
The passing of Joseph "Joe" Frost (Retired Master Warrant Officer, CD) occurred at home on Monday, July 8, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. He was 73.
Born in Lochaber Mines, NS, he was a son of the late Austin and Carrie (MacDonald) Frost.
Joe served in the Canadian Armed Forces for 38 years with the Black Watch and 2 RCR and was a member of the United Church, Marysville. He worked as a Commissionaire at the RCMP Headquarters and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #4. Joe was an avid gardener, painter and enjoyed both downhill and cross country skiing. The greatest love he had was for his family and the time lovingly spent with his granddaughters.
Survived by his wife Joyce (Flowers) Frost; daughter Megan Marten; two grand daughters Lanaya and Summer Marten; six sisters Emma Parks, Sylvia Monk (John), Ziggy Frost, Evelyn Frost, Vicky Crowell and Darlene Frost; sister-in-law Renee Frost; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother John Frost, two sisters Shirley MacKay and Bonnie Hutka.
Respecting Joe’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Following cremation, Interment of ashes will held at a later date in Nova Scotia. The family have suggested the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor’s choice for memorial contributions.
A very special thank you to Oncology DECRH, Dr. Anan, Dr. Gowan, Dr. Patricia Thorpe for all your support and kindness, as well as Randy Moore, Rev. David Brewer, special nephew Stephen Flowers and Joe’s special and lifelong friend Kenny Greenham for being there during a difficult time.
