Regret to report the passing of Tom Brown last week in Fredericton, NB.
Tom graduated from The Black Watch Depot in 1958 and was posted to 1st Battalion with whom he served in Aldershot, Germany and Gagetown.
He was posted to 2RCR on 1 July 1970.

Thomas Cyril Brown 1940-2013
The death of Thomas Cyril Brown of French Lake, NB occurred on Thursday, October 24th, 2013 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton, NB. Born in Halifax, NS, he was the son of the late Daniel and Dorothy (Smith) Brown.
Tom is survived by his loving wife Olga (Williams); sons Thomas Brown (Lisa) of Rusagonis and Robert Brown (Leanne) of Saint John; grandchildren Caitlyn, Hannah and Samuel; great grandson Maks; brothers Fred Brown of Hammonds Plains, NS and Andy Foggoa (Bev) of Westmount, NS; sisters Jeanne Fraser of Hammonds Plains, NS and Judy Foggoa of Dartmouth, NS and many nieces and nephews. Tom had been a proud member of both the Black Watch and the RCR’s for over 32 years.
In addition to his parents, Tom was predeceased by his stepfather Andrew Foggoa and several brothers and sisters.
In keeping with Tom’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Donations made to charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
