Joseph "Joe" Chisholm
1935-2013


The death of Joseph "Joe" Bernard Chisholm of Waasis, NB, occurred at Mill Cove Nursing Home on Wednesday, October 30th, 2013. Born in Sydney Mines, NS, he was the son of the late Angus and Mary (Deveaux) Chisholm and the wife of Donna Mae Chisholm.

Survived by two daughters, Mary and Brenda (Tim) Chisholm of Lincoln; one son, Jason (Donna) Chisholm of Waasis; siblings, Jim Chisholm of Barrie, ON and Brian Chisholm, Kay MacDonald, Terry Carmichael and Bernedette McCormick, all of St. Catherines, ON; as well as many nieces and nephews. Joe was predeceased by his parents, wife, Donna Mae, and sister in law, Kaye
The family would like to thank all the staff at Mill Cove Nursing Home for the exceptional care they gave to Joe over the last 3 years.

Visitation will take place at Oromocto Funeral Home on Saturday, November 2nd, 2013 from 2-4 pm. The funeral service will be held in the Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, November 3rd at 2 pm. Fr. Ken Weir will officiate. Due to allergies the family requests no flowers please. For those who wish, donations in Joe’s memory may be made to the Mill Cove Nursing Home Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Society.
