Regret to report the passing of Jim Haynes.
Jim enrolled in the North Nova Scotia Highlanders in 1952 and re-badged Black Watch enroute to Korea the following year as a member of Support Company 2RHC. Sometime later he remustered to the RC Ordnance Corps.

James Linden Haynes
(June 29, 1934 - December 11, 2013)
HAYNES, James Linden – 1934-2013, of Saulnierville, passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2013, in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Digby, he was a foster son of the late Arnaud and Francoise Comeau. He was a retired Master Warrant Officer after 29 years in the Canadian Army having served in Aldershot, Korea, Gagetown, Germany, Cyprus, Greenwood, Goose Bay and Yarmouth. He will be forever missed by wife of 58 years, Jean; sons, Terry, Dale, Jamie; grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws. He was predeceased by brothers, Douglas, Billy and many dear foster brothers and sisters. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Meteghan Funeral Home. Disposal of ashes will take place at a later date.
