Regret to report the passing of Harvey Burgess on Thursday in Gagetown, NB.
After graduating from The Black Watch Depot in Susses, Harvey served with our 2nd Battalion in Aldershot, Gagetown, and Germany. He re-badged 2RCR in 1970 and accompanied the unit to Jamaica and Cyprus.

It is with sadness that the family of Harvey Burgess, announce his passing on September 20, 2018, at the Orchard View Long Term Care Home, Gagetown, NB. He was the son of the late Uena Burgess of Kentville, NS.
Harvey is survived by his children, Harvey Jr. (Carol), Richard (Janet), Kalvin (Sandy); many grandchildren and great grandchildren and his brother, Nelson (Joan). He was predeceased by his son Timothy Burgess; brothers, Sam, Babe, Garth, Mervyn and his sisters, Annie and Adelle.
Harvey Served in the Black Watch and RCR. He completed his basic training in Sussex NB and served in Gagetown NB, Jamaica, Germany, Borden ON, Cyprus, Cornwall NS, Egypt and Halifax NS.
There will be no visitation or funeral services at this time. Arrangements have been entrusted to Bishops Funeral Home, (458-1885)
