Eric served with our 1st Battalion in Gagetown and Cyprus.

The passing of Eric Charles Adams of Fredericton, NB, husband of Lucy (Heffernan) Adams occurred on Friday, November 2, 2018 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on August 4, 1941 in St. John’s, NL, he was the son of the late Edgar and Blanche (Learning) Adams. Eric was a Veteran; he served in the Canadian Armed Forces for 30 years. He loved woodworking and yard sales.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Patricia Lavigne (Danny) and Stephen Adams (Lisa); grandchildren, Rochelle Adams, Darcy Lavigne, Matthew Adams, Sawyer Adams, Colin Lavigne and Alicia Adams; great grandchildren, Joseph Cartwright, Xavier Lavigne and Abigail Adams; sisters, Elizabeth Adams, Margaret Rogers, Daphane White (Arthur) and Shirley Shanner; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Jeffrey Adams; sisters, Jean Hussey and Ruth Carlisle; brothers, David and Reg Adams.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Sunday, November 4, 2018 from 6-9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Monday, November 5, 2018 at 10 am with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Interment will take place in Douglas Rural Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or the Canadian Diabetes Association. Personal condolences may be offered through
