Black Watch friends:
Regret to report the passing of Mike Skinner last week in Halifax.
Mike began his military career with the RCAF but opted to get out at the end of his three year contract to join the Army. He was posted to our Second Battalion in time to accompany it to Germany in 1962, and to Cyprus in 1966 and again in 1969/70. When The Black Watch of Canada was removed from our Regular Force order-of-battle in 1970, Mike remustered back to his former RCAF trade.
