Black Watch (The Royal Highland Regiment) of Canada

It is with a broken heart that I announce the passing of Rick, on December 16, 2020 at 67 years of age. Beloved husband of Karen Sutcliffe. Cherished father of Andrew Hummell (predeceased) of Paul Hummell and stepfather of James Sutcliffe. He served for 21 years in the Black Watch, 20 years as an independent truck driver, and 2 years as a security guard. Rick was a noted instructor of communications in just about any infantry topic you wanted to speak on. He served proudly his country and his Regiment. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to the Cremation Society of Windsor & Essex County, 3260 Dougall Ave., South Windsor, (519)969-5841.
