Black Watch friends:
Regret to report the passing of Lewis Paul on 8 September 2021 in the Fredericton Veterans Health Unit.
Lewis served with Second Battalion, The Black Watch RHC (‘C’ Coy) during the late 1950s and early 60s.


Lewis W. Paul
1935-2021

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Lewis W. Paul announce his passing on Wednesday, September 8th, 2021 at the Veteran’s Health Unit in Fredericton. Born on September 8th, 1935 he was the son of the late John and Naomi Paul, Ireland’s Eye, Trinity Bay in the province of Newfoundland.
Lewis leaves behind his children, Debbie Bishop (Chris), Robert Paul (Nathalie); grandchildren, Courtney Ulsh (Brendon), Anica Paul, Anthony Paul; great-grandsons, Ledger Ulsh, Oliver Ulsh; sisters and brothers, Doris Ivany, Lillian Baker, George Paul, and Max Paul.
He was predeceased by his wife, Margaret Leona Paul, his sister Rita Lambert and brother Irvin Paul.
Lewis was a veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces and served with the Black Watch.
The family would like to express their appreciation to all the staff at the Veteran’s Health Unit, Fredericton.
A visitation will be held at Oromocto Funeral Home on Monday, September 13th, 2021 from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm. A service will not take place. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Oromocto SPCA.
