James Francis Ivey

Passed away at the Agnes Pratt Home on Friday, September 4, 2009, James Francis Ivey of St. John’s, Black Watch Veteran, Korean Conflict, age 81 years. Predeceased by his loving wife Violet in 2001 and his parents Gordon and Mary. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, daughters: Marjorie Froude and Mary (Don Williams); sons: Gordon (Marilyn Noseworthy), John (Janet), Paul (Barb Sellars), Bob (Carla) and Pat (Laura Jarvis); grandchildren: Shandelle and Sarah Sellars, Stacey Ivey, Kayla Ivey, Jimmy and Krista Noseworthy, Jennifer and Emily Froude, Jessica Ivey, Matthew and Brandon Ivey, Jack Jarvis; great-grandchildren: Zackary Ivey, Dominic and Nathan Buckley; sisters: Josephine Hutchings, Mary Wittman, Frances Kennedy, Theresa Cribb and their families; brothers: Bill, Gord (Minnie), Gus (Anne), Cecil (Alice) and their families, also a large circle of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, especially staff at Pratt Place, Agnes Pratt Home. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. - 12 noon, 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Monday, September 7 at 2 p.m. from St. Teresa’s Church. Interment to follow at the Field of Honor, Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
