Dave served with 2nd Battalion in Korea, Aldershot and Gagetown, and I believe in Germany and Cyprus as well.

David Armand Doucette
1925-2010
The death of David Doucette occurred on Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born June 1st, 1925 in West Pubnico, Yarmouth County, NS, he was the son of the late Jerry and Mary (Morris) Doucette and husband to Florence (Corbin) Doucette.
David was a member of the Black Watch and a Korean Veteran serving in the Canadian Forces from 1953 - 1975. He then continued to work at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital until 1985.
He is survived by his wife, Florence; his children, Joanne (Jim Doucet) of Oromocto, Cathy (Don Lorette) of Lincoln, Paul (Marion Doucette) of Lincoln, Susan (Kevin Billinghurst) of Oromocto and David Doucette of Lincoln; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and sister, Madeline. David is predeceased by his parents, one son, Gary Doucette; sisters, Eleonice, Josephine, Elizabeth, Rose Aimee and two brothers, Leon and Edward.
There will be no visitation or service at David's request, he will be laid to rest at a later date in Kentville, NS. For those who wish, donations can be made to the charity of the donor's choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Oromocto Funeral Home. (506-357-5100)
