I can tell you it wasn't 83 as I was 126 in 1961.
Good luck

Hi,
Did you know Morris Lewis? nick name Lue. He was in the Black Watch, Squad 140 and posted in Gagetown in the 60's. I will ask around for you about George Powers, and let you know.

Larou and Gagnon were from L'Ardoise in Cape Breton my home town as well. Larou was killed in Cyprus and I'm not sure about Gagnon. I do know that he remained in the army though. Your squad had to be 183, I went through with 106 squad in 1960.

My father was posted to Gagetown in 1962 I believe, Black Watch, and then RCR and remained there until he retired in 1981. He recently moved back to Fredericton and would be interested in connecting with anyone from that time period. He was a snare drummer for most of his career and taught drumming at different points along the way.
