Regret to inform you that Donald Creasey passed away in Hope BC on February 2, 2014 after a lengthy illness. He enrolled in 1961, serving in 2 RHC between October 1961 and April 1962, whereupon he transferred to 1 RHC following that unit's return from Germany. Don took his release in December 1964 and returned to BC where he enjoyed a lengthy career as a locomotive engineer with the Canadian Pacific Railway. Away from his work, he and Sharon raised Bouvier des Flandres, a herding dog originating in Flanders. He is is survived by Wendy Swartz, living in Arizona, James E. Creasey, Director of Loss Prevention at Consumer Logistics and also attends Simon Fraser University, and Laura Stefansson, a B.C. Ambulance Paramedic. Don also has 3 grandsons, 5 granddaughters and 1 great grandson. At the family's request, there will be no service.
