It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of WWII Veteran Cpl William James Wilkinson on August 29, 2016, at the age of 93. Beloved husband of Gail Myles, cherished father of Fraser, and devoted grandfather of Rebecca and Emily. He will also be deeply missed by many relatives and friends. Proud and long serving member of the Black Watch Regiment, Legion, Shriners and Masons. The family will receive condolences on Thursday, September 8, 2016 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., followed by the Celebration of Life at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the complex. Interment will follow at the Pointe Claire National Field of Honor Cemetery at 1 p.m. Followed by a gathering and exchange of stories will be held at Lasalle Legion Branch, 212, 7771 Bouvier St. corner Shevchenko.
