Leonard Patrick Murphy
Curling, 1931 - 2008
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Leonard Patrick Murphy announce his passing on Saturday, December 13th, 2008 at the Interfaith Home for Seniors at the age of 77 years. He leaves to mourn his brothers: Dennis (Nanie), Curling and William (Joan), Ontario; sisters: Monica Porier, Ontario, Clara Nolan, St. John’s, Thomasine (Bernard) Parsons, York Harbour and Agnes Pynn, St. John’s. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents William and Annie Murphy, brother Cyril, sisters Frances, Edwina and Delores. Cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium, Pasadena. There will be no formal funeral service. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to a Charity of One’s Choice. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street. The family guest book may be signed or a memorial donation may be made through our website
