Ray served with our First Battalion, The Black Watch RHC in CFB Gagetown and Cyprus

It is with great sadness that the family of Ray Reginald Hiltz, 77, of Halifax announces his passing on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at the QE II, Infirmary Site, Halifax.
Born in Western Shore, Ray was the son of the late Ray and Bessie (Hamm) Hiltz and he spent all of his working career with the Royal Canadian Army.
Ray is survived by his beloved wife, Edith; brothers, Kenneth of Queensland and Gary of Coldbrook.
He was predeceased by his parents and a brother Robert.
A private committal service was held at Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater.
In lieu of flowers those desiring may make memorial donations in Ray's memory to St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church or to a charity of your choice.
Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213 Hwy. # 3, Lunenburg.
