— 94, of Annapolis County, died peacefully in Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Middleton on July 24, 2009. Born in Upper Granville, he was a son of the late Kenneth and Laura Hebb. John was the last surviving member of his immediate family. John "Bill" loved hunting, fishing and trapping and enjoyed telling stories. He was a life member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 33, Bridgetown. He worked for the County Home in Bridgetown for many years as a cook. He served overseas with the Black Watch. He received the Medal of Holland. He is survived by sons, Bobby, Paul, Earl, Jimmy, Billy; daughters, Willimine, Nancy, Sue, Maryann and many nieces and nephews; grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Bridgetown. There will be no visitation or funeral by request.
