GEORGE LESLIE MOORE (Retired after a long career with Kodak Canada) At Lakeridge Health Bowmanville after a lengthy battle with cancer on Tuesday, May 17, 2011 in his 68th year. George, beloved husband for 26 years of Margaret (nee Forbes). Loving father of daughters Julie and predeceased by Sheri who waits for him in Heaven. Dear brother of Alec and his wife Sharon. Sadly missed by sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and his many friends. Friends may call at the NEWCASTLE FUNERAL HOME, 386 Mill St. S., Newcastle (just north of 401 at the lights) on Friday, May 20, from 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Saturday, May 21, at 1 p.m., with visiting from 12 noon until time of service. Donations in George's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by his family.
