Regret to inform you that Bob Jenner passed away this morning in Arnprior, Ontario.

At 6:30 AM this morning September 14, 2011 Robert (Bob) Jenner passed away in Arnprior, Ontario.
Bob joined the Black Watch in the very early sixties and served with both the 1st & 2nd battalions in Gagetown, Germany and Cyprus. He also served for a short period with 1 RCR at Wolseley Barracks in London, Ontario.
Bob was well know for excelling in athletics, particularly soccer, boxing and track & field. He later originated and coached a youth swimming club in British Columbia.
Bob had been battling cancer for some time and it finally overtook him. Cremation will take place shortly and a memorial service will be announced at a later date.
