Black Watch Friends:

Regret to report the passing of Ernie Rose on 31 May 2012.

Kirk Du Guid reports the following:

Ernie ROSE died 31 May 2012 after being diagnosed with cancer in early April 2012.
As you remember he was a member of A Company, Sigs Section, in the 2nd Bn of the Black Watch on Cyprus in 1966. Before that he was in the 1st Bn, Recce Platoon.
Before joining the Canadian Army he was a member of the United States Marine Corp for a short period of time, and after leaving the Regiment he was a member of the Royal Canadian Air Force for an equally short period of time. Home was Canmore Alberta at the time of his death.
